CHEESY LASAGNA ROLLS

INGREDIENTS

Lasagna sheets: 12, cooked al dente
Bolognese sauce: 3 cups, rich and meaty
Ricotta cheese: 1 cup
Mozzarella cheese: 2 cups, shredded
Parmesan cheese: 1/2 cup, grated
Egg: 1, beaten
Fresh parsley: Chopped, for garnish
Salt and pepper: To taste

INSTRUCTIONS

Prepare the Filling: In a mixing bowl, combine ricotta cheese, half the mozzarella, Parmesan cheese, and beaten egg. Season with salt and pepper to taste. Mix well to create your cheese filling.

Assemble Roll-Ups: Lay out the cooked lasagna sheets on a clean surface. Spread a generous amount of Bolognese sauce over each sheet, then dollop the cheese mixture on top. Carefully roll up the sheets from one end to the other.

Arrange in Baking Dish: Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Spread a thin layer of Bolognese sauce in the bottom of a baking dish. Place the roll-ups seam side down in the dish. Pour the remaining Bolognese sauce over the top, and sprinkle with the remaining mozzarella cheese.

Bake: Cover the dish with foil and bake for 25 minutes. Remove the foil and bake for an additional 10 minutes, or until the cheese is bubbly and golden.

Garnish and Serve: Sprinkle chopped parsley over the cooked roll-ups before serving. Enjoy these delicious cheesy roll-ups with a side salad or garlic bread for a complete meal.
